When Industrial Pixel (IP) was invited to present at TTTC's "MEET THE INDUSTRY" event, our alumni eagerly shared their post-graduation experiences. The event provided a platform for over 70 aspiring artists to learn from our team.
The primary goal was to introduce students to our 3D scanning technology and its role in the Gaming and VFX industries. A key takeaway for students was the realization of numerous opportunities beyond traditional 3D artist roles.

IP’s Think Tank Alumni’s Stories:
Alex, Head of Operations: I started my journey with Think Tank in 2011, with lots of inspiration and support at the school I finished my training and demo reel specializing in character modeling, the knowledge I gained gave me a strong start in the VFX industry.
I joined Industrial Pixel 3D Studios, first as a Scanning Technician. Since then I have had amazing experiences and in-depth exposure to the film industry, meeting some of the most talented and influential people in the industry.
I am currently a partner and Head of Operations at Industrial Pixel 3D Studios and am always looking forward to meeting and exploring new talent coming out of Think Tank, the place that gave me a great start all those years ago.
Carl, Regional Manager: I graduated from Think Tank Training Center in 2010, where I gained a solid foundation in film and visual effects. Since then, I've been lucky enough to work alongside some of the greatest professionals in the world.
Now, I'm the Regional Operations Manager at Industrial Pixel 3D Studios, leading an amazing team of talented 3D Scan Technicians and Modelers.
Michele, Lead Scanning Tech: I graduated from Think Tank in 2022 and became a 3D Scanning Technician and 3D Modeler at Industrial Pixel 3D Studios shortly after.
The solid foundation that I built at Think Tank combined with the expertise and knowledge that I gained working with IP, have given me the confidence to work on multiple productions across Canada and the US.
Colton, 3D Data Content Coordinator: I graduated from Think Tank in 2023. Think Tank provided me with all of the resources I needed to become a capable and confident professional.
It has been instrumental in opening opportunities for me to work in an industry that I am passionate about!
Hadia, 3D Data Coordinator: I graduated from Think Tank in 2023 where I honed my skills as an artist. Their mentorship, network and industry connections helped me land my first role at IP.
